Background

Every year, estimated at more than 2,000 people have graduated from ACADEMY MARITIME. Based on the sample at five leading academies in Jakarta and West Java, the average waiting period of less graduates in obtaining employment three months after graduation, reached 80 percent. Productivity of college graduates per year is estimated at around 18,700, assuming the 100 people each per batch went abroad.

As a global industry, Indonesia is a strategic economic world especially ASIA and became haven trade through sea transportation. Marine transportation development opportunities and support facilities, the shipbuilding workforce is expected to make asignificant contribution to the economy. Strategic impact is related to the developmental level of the workforce who wants to develop a career in the field of shipbuilding, including ship crew.
